Semiconductor Memory Write For Us: Semiconductor memory is a digital electric semiconductor device that stores digital data like computer memory. These devices typically store data in metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) memory cells on a silicon-integrated memory chip. Many different types use different semiconductor technologies.
The two primary forms of random access memory (RAM) are static RAM (SRAM), which uses multiple transistors per memory cell, and active RAM (DRAM), which uses one transistor and one MOS capacitance per cell. Non-volatile memory (such as EPROM, EEPROM and showy memory) uses floating-gate memory cells, which involve one floating-gate transistor per cell.

Types of Memory
Volatile memory
Volatile memory loses stowed data when power is removed from the memory chip. However, it can be faster and cheaper than non-volatile memory. Most computers use this type of main memory because data is stored on the hard drive when the computer is turned off.
RAM
RAM (Random Access Memory) has become a catch-all term for any semiconductor device memory that can be written to and read from instead of read-only (low) ROM. All semiconductor memories, not just RAM, have random access properties.
DRAM
DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) – uses memory cells consisting of a MOSFET (MOSFET) and a MOSFET capacitor to store apiece bit. This type of RAM is the cheapest and has the highest density, which is why it is used as the main memory in computers. The update process is inside the computer and transparent to the user.
FPM DRAM
FPM DRAM (Fast page mode DRAM) is an older type of asynchronous DRAM that has been improved upon earlier types by allowing repeated access to a single “page” of memory at a faster rate. Used in the mid-1990s.
SDRAM
SDRAM (Synchronal Dynamic Random Access Memory) is a circuit added to the DRAM chip that harmonizes all operations with a clock signal additional to the computer’s memory bus. This allowed the chip to process numerous memory requests simultaneously using pipelining to increase speed. This became the leading type of computer memory around the year 2000.
